Light box inspired by the transition between a photonic moment of conceal and reveal.  Constructed from foam core, monofilament, rubber cord and pins, the box relied on the observer to move around the box.  In this kinetic exploration, moments of illumination from a framing projetor would either conceal / reveal the materiality of the rubber or the monofilament.

The project sought to explore the idea that  ON and OFF is not a binary situation.  Instead:

0                                                                                                                                                                                    1

There is space between the ON and the OFF.
